Ralph worked for the railroad as a lineman.

His father, Charles Perry Hammond,(Chas.) was born in New York State on Nov 27 1849. He was a Locomotive engineer in Iowa for the Santa Fe Railroad ,When Ralph was around 9, Charles moved his young family to Winnipeg, where he worked for CP Rail. Betty worked in a bakery.

Died- May 11, 1989 Toronto, Age 90
