This was the beer parlour of the Westminster, fondly known to locals as The Snakepit . However, if Eileen the owner ever heard her establishment referred to as that , she'd scream, "You're banned! Banned for life!!!", and mean it too, at least for a week... she was too astute a businesswoman to have a longer memory than that!
