Linda Dawn Hammond WORK on FILM and VIDEO
Worked on 11 films and video between 2014- 1990 in various capacities, including writer/ actor/ cameraperson / documentary subject/ director /
stills photographer. Directors include Philippe Spurrell, Istvan Kantor, Bashar Shbib, Lyn Cam, Hanno Beathe, Velcrow Ripper and myself.
I am presently involved with four projects, listed below, and an additional one in current negotiation with Director Alison Duke.
Studied film (16mm) at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (now University), in 1976/1977 and 1979/1980.
Received a Canada Council Grant for the 1994 video, Please Don't Make Me Hurt You. It was also presented in book form in March, 2004 in a Group exhibit entitled,
Fire and Water at the Cafe Silencio, Montreal.
